THE POSITION:Logistics Supervisor, Guangzhou
    REPORTS TO:SCM Manager, China
    MAIN PURPOSE:The Logistic Operation Supervisor will be responsible to control, monitor the on-site operation encompassing warehouse services and logistics activities.
    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    -Implement and manage the operation procedures/flows/KPI.
    -Control the operation performance, including booking of ocean carriers, customs procedures on import/export, and quality control on outgoing shipments.
    -Control the operation expenses.
    -Develop new operations capability to support new client requirements.
    -Assist SCM Manager to develop a professional and process-based organization.
    -Building up management reports as required.
   
    IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS:
    Internally, this position will have regular contact with the Sydney and Guangzhou organizations to implement the above-mentioned major responsibilities. Externally, he/she will frequently liaise with local partners such as shipping carriers and cargo agents, CHB, etc.
   
    KEY PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:The Logistics Operation Supervisor will be evaluated on the achievement of the above-mentioned responsibilities and those KPIs built up by the company.
   
    QUALIFICATIONS:University graduated.
    RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3~5 years' experience in the logistics and shipping industry
    SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
    -Good command of written and spoken English-Well presented with excellent interpersonal skills.
    -Self-driven, result-oriented and organized-Proven ability to develop and maintain good relationships with partners and colleagues.
    -Computer skills in MS Office
    -Knowledge of customs procedures and previous shipping experience
